5 quick fixes to get more bookings from your salon’s website

Simple changes you can make today to turn more website visitors into paying clients.

If you run a salon or barbershop, your website has one main job: to fill your chair.

It doesn’t need to win design awards (though looking good helps), but it does need to make it incredibly easy for people to book an appointment.

Here are 5 quick fixes you can check right now.

1. Put a “Book Now” button in your menu

Don’t make people hunt for it. Your booking button should be the most obvious thing on the page. Ideally, it should stick to the top of the screen on mobile so it’s always just a thumb-tap away.

2. Show your prices clearly

“Call for pricing” is a conversion killer. People want to know if they can afford you before they commit. Even if you have complex services, give a “starting from” price to set expectations.

3. Add your address and a map

Local SEO 101: Make sure Google (and your customers) know exactly where you are. Embed a Google Map on your contact page and have your address in the footer of every page.

4. Use real photos

Stock photos of smiling models with perfect teeth look fake. People want to see your salon, your team, and your work. A slightly imperfect photo taken on an iPhone is 10x better than a generic stock image.

5. Speed up your mobile site

Most of your customers are looking at your site on their phone, probably while doing something else. If it takes more than 3 seconds to load, they’re gone. Check your image sizes and get rid of any unnecessary plugins.
